Spring is here, and it's not just your garden waking up – it's time to give your robotic mower and charge station a little TLC! With all that fresh growth, it’s easy for your charge station to get overrun by grass, bugs, slugs, and all sorts of critters that love your mower as much as you do.
Just a quick brush down and a trim around the base will do the trick. And if slugs and bugs are being a bit cheeky, pop down some bait to keep the pests away.
A quick spring spruce-up now, and you'll set yourself up for perfect grass, ready for those sunny days and summer afternoons on the lawn!
Cleaning the robotic mower charging station
Regularly clean the charging station and keep the area around it clear of debris and organic matter to ensure efficient operation:
- Disconnect the Power Supply: Always disconnect the power supply unit before cleaning.
- Remove Debris: Remove grass, leaves, twigs, and other objects that may impede docking.
- Clean the Surface: Use a damp cloth and, if necessary, a mild soap solution to clean the surface of the charging station.
- Inspect and Clean Contact Plates: Inspect the contact plates and clean them with a fine-grade emery cloth if necessary.
Note: Never use a high-pressure washer to clean the charging station and do not use solvents.
